C&L Performance recently released its all new 76mm Mass Airflow package for 86-93 Mustang 5.0 vehicles. C&L's Dyno testing and development indicates the meter can help maximize performance on your 5.0L Mustang. Featuring the exclusive "TrueFlow" intake pipe, the entire inlet tract from MAF to throttle body retains a full 76mm diameter throughout, unlike other designs that C&L claims can hinder airflow.
The cast aluminum TrueFlow pipe comes with a boss cast in it for those wanting to use nitrous oxide without damaging the stock rubber intake hose. Dyno testing on a mildly modified 5.0 with 19lb fuel injectors showed a gain of ~16 rear wheel horsepower and ~19 ft/lb of torque. C"L claims that on an 11-second vehicle with 24lb injectors, the package can be good for between 3 to 5 more rear wheel horsepower than other meters. Suggested price for the entire assembly is $219.
